Michelle Chalk died on August 1, 2017. She was at a friend’s house in a hammock when a tree fell on her. Her death was felt by the entire community of Fort Thomas, KY. In June of 2017 Michelle went on a family vacation to Hilton Head Island. During that vacation Michelle purchased a leather wristband and had the words “Live Free” etched into the leather. Michelle’s life and attitude inspired the young and the old. Her family adopted the hashtag #LiveFreeLikeMichelle to call to mind Michelle’s attitude and to Live Free. To have the courage to do what is right and good.
