The Ft. Thomas Education Association established the Harold Miller Humanitarian fund in 1990 to help students in the Ft. Thomas School system that needed financial assistance and to recognize students for their humanitarian efforts in the community. The fund was changed in 1992 to the Harold and Dorothy Miller Humanitarian Fund and in 1995 to its present name. This fund is a living memorial to Harold, Dorothy, and Alice Miller who dedicated more than 100 years to the education of children and service to their community. More than one-half of these years were in service to the Ft. Thomas School System and the city of Ft. Thomas.
